Sessions, tasks, follow-ups and university deadlines on one calendar, with reminders, recurrence and two-way Google Calendar sync.
What lands on the calendar
In short
Sessions, tasks, follow-ups and university deadlines all appear on the same calendar, in day, week, month and multi-month views, with drag-and-drop rescheduling.
Scheduling a session creates its calendar entry, so a booked meeting cannot exist on the record but not in your week.
Tasks that are more than a checkbox
- Priority and tags, so forty tasks narrow down to this week's.
- A reminder, set in minutes before the due time.
- Recurrence, for follow-ups that repeat every term.
- A checklist inside the task, for multi-step jobs like a document set.
- A link to a student, so the task shows up on their record.
- A flag, and the option to leave a task undated.
- Attachments on calendar entries.
The follow-ups list
Every session records a next session date. The dashboard reads that across your caseload and produces a follow-ups needed list. It is the most useful list in the product, because a student with no upcoming date is drifting away.
The routine that turns that list into results is in how to organize student follow-ups.
University deadlines
Each application carries its deadline, and upcoming ones surface on the dashboard. Working backwards through everything that waits on someone else is what prevents late submissions. The method is in managing documents and deadlines.
Google Calendar
In short
EduCRM syncs with Google Calendar both ways. Sessions, tasks and deadlines created here appear there, a change on either side follows through, and you connect or disconnect it yourself in workspace settings.
Two-way sync, connected by you
You connect it once, through Google's own consent screen. It is the only Google Workspace API EduCRM uses, and what comes back serves the sync and nothing else: not analytics, not research, no AI model.
- Sessions, tasks and deadlines, synced both ways
- Reschedule in either calendar and the other follows
- Optional, per workspace, and off until you turn it on
- Disconnecting deletes the stored credentials and synced events
Nothing depends on connecting it. A single event can still be opened in Google Calendar with its details pre-filled. What the sync stores, and for how long, is in the privacy policy.

Do deadlines appear on the same calendar as sessions?
Yes. Sessions, tasks, follow-ups and application deadlines share one calendar with day, week, month and multi-month views and drag-and-drop rescheduling.
Does EduCRM sync with Google Calendar?
Yes, if you connect it. Sessions, tasks and deadlines created in EduCRM appear in Google Calendar, and a change on either side follows through. Connect and disconnect it from workspace settings; disconnecting deletes the stored credentials and synced events.
Can a task be created without a date?
Yes. Tasks can be left undated and given a date later.
